Paradox #1 - Wasting because we have to

In Denmark, the little country of 5.6 billion people, we throw 50-70 billion tons of dead fish back into the sea, EVERY DAY!
Why? Because the fishermen, who is incredibly efficient these days, may only bring certain quotas of specific fish back into habour. Since the fish do not know that the fishermen catch different, and too many fish. The fish off course die getting trawled up in scoops of several tons a dip, thus ending up in the sea as fresh, edible, dead fish waste.
Who makes the quotas? EU. This is not just a Danish problem, these quotas affect fishermen within the whole EU. The quota-system is a way to assure that there is not twist

Paradoxes, or A Sick World

Today I found a need to make a new kind of entry in my journal. This new entry will be circling around the topics that my brain is just too simple to understand, or perhaps they are just what they seem - human made paradoxes!
Pradoxes of this world gave me ulcers when I was a child. I just could not comprehend how I could understand there was a these obvious scenarios of cruelty and illogical actions, but no grown up seemed to care about it. With the years I understood why: you develop a filter that makes you ignore these things that you are exposed to in our daily life. It is simply a survial mechanism of the brain!

I get... "upset"... when I read clever comments on anatomy of people, or even monsters, that have too short legs, different eye sizes and so on.
All right, there is something called basic anatomy, but people tend to forget that in the real world we don't look the same, and some people do actually have short legs, or a crooked nose. Dang, I even got a statement that read that the boobs was too small on one of my girls - no, I actually choose to draw them that way. :->
Anyhow, to anyone reading this, allow people to draw "ugly people" or "real people" if you like. I my eyes a pimple or a missing finger actually make the pictures of people mo
